Junior Field Technician

Job Description

Mechanical and electrical skills to assist in the installation, operation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of:
  • Well and booster pumps
  • Water meters
  • Chlorination systems
  • Valves, both manual and automatic
  • Electrical power and controls
  • Generator sets
  • Diesel engines
  • Electronic communication and SCADA equipment
  • Process control instrumentation
  • Boiler controls
  • Industrial machinery

Experience:

2 to 5 years of related field or shop work.

Other Requirements:

A valid Hawaii driver's license is required. Must be insurable with no major infractions. Applicants must pass initial and subsequent random drug screening tests. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with an abundance of common sense who enjoy working independently, as well as in a team atmosphere.

Compensation:

$23 to $30 per hour based on experience and credentials.

Senior Field Technician

Job Description

Mechanical and electrical skills to complete the tasks of a Junior Field Technician without assistance along with the mechanical and electrical skills to assist in the delivery of:
  • Design of electrical power and control systems
  • Design of telemetry and SCADA systems
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) upgrades for relay logic control systems
  • Control panel fabrication and installation
  • Retrofit of VFD technology to existing fixed speed applications
  • Demand Side Management retrofits
  • Power quality monitoring
  • Upgrades and retrofits to industrial machinery
  • Industrial hydraulic system upgrades
  • Vibrational analysis and field balancing
  • Commercial and industrial electrical wiring

Experience:

5 to 10 years of related field or shop work.
